Keith Urban “gives props” to Nicole Kidman’s parenting skills.

The couple share daughters Sunday Rose, five, and Faith Margaret, three.

And Keith says he couldn’t possibly juggle his career and enjoy fatherhood if his wife of seven years didn’t have it so together.

"I always give props to Nic,” he told America’s People magazine at Sunday night’s Academy of Country Music Awards.

“Because we travel so much as a family, she does an amazing job keeping everybody together. She's got the kids' schedule dialed in, she's dropping them off even in the middle of her work. I couldn't do any of this without her."

Despite their hectic work schedules, Keith said they both make it a priority to spend time with family.

Rather than carving out chunks of time to spend together, the couple remain flexible for one another and take the kids where work takes them.

"Trying to block out time never seems to work," Keith explained. “So if she's shooting a film – she was in Morocco, so we're like, 'Okay, we're gonna go to Morocco for a holiday.' We just kind of had one while she was working."

People reports Keith was up for five ACMs this year.

The American Idol star scooped Vocal Event of the Year for his performance of We Were Us, featuring Miranda Lambert, as well as Best Video for Highway Don't Care, also featuring Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift.

Nicole meanwhile doesn’t seem to be slowing down either.

According to IMDb, the actress is currently filming Kim Farrant thriller Strangerland, and has several films in the works through 2015.

She can next be seen in the role of Grace Kelly in Olivier Dahan’s biography drama Grace of Monaco, scheduled for US release next month.
