Jamie Lynn Spears and her husband made their red carpet debut Sunday night.
Britney Spears’ younger sister married James Watson in an intimate New Orleans, Louisiana ceremony last month, E! News reported at the time.
And the couple were beaming as they walked their first red carpet as man and wife at the 2014 Academy of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada Sunday evening.
The Zoey 101 star, 23, also spoke to People magazine before the awards ceremony, revealing she believes it’s “always good” to take her sister’s advice about performing.
“Your sister is always someone you're going to look up to,” she said. “We're in the same kind of industry but different genres, so definitely it's good to take her advice."
Britney is currently enjoying a two-year residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Sin City.
However, the pop diva recently admitted she’s “way less fearless” than she used to be.
“I’m older, obviously, and I think I’m probably a little bit wiser, but I’m way less fearless,” she told Vegas magazine earlier this year.
Britney is mother to Sean, eight, and Jayden, seven, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.
The boys are cousins to Jamie Lynn’s five-year-old daughter Maddie, whom she shares with ex Casey Aldridge.
Things got serious between Jamie and her husband about four years ago. However, the singer and actress has said she was unsure about the direction they were heading in the beginning.
"It was when I was going through this time in my life where my now fiancé, we were kind of in a transition stage. I had just moved to Nashville full-time and I was focusing on being a mom and focusing on my work," Jamie Lynn told E! News before the wedding, noting that her life has now come “full circle”.
