Brought to you by the same crew behind Outlook, Dimensions is one of the most unique festival experiences of recent times, beyond discussion for any festivalgoer.
Providing noon-to-sunset beach parties and 9 daily boat parties 'throughout the festival', not to mention the myriad of astonishing stages spread across the grounds of a 19th century fort, it has become the choicest summer venue for lovers of techno, house, and bass music since its inception in 2012.
The resplendent atmosphere is accompanied by an exceptional lineup and staggering sound systems, including the much-renowned Mungos Hifi Soundsystem.
The lineup this year features Detroit legends Moodymann, Theo Parrish, Anthony Shake Shakir, Underground Resistance playing a show tracing their history, and Juan Atkins playing alongside Moritz von Oswald as Borderline.
Further highlights include Roy Ayers, Jon Hopkins, Metro Area, Gilles Peterson, Nina Kraviz, Ben UFO, Funkineven, Move D, Mala, Goldie, and many more. Attendees will also have the chance to see a truly historic show at the Opening Concert, which takes place in a 2000 year old Roman Amphitheatre, and features live performances from Caribou and Darkside (Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington), with support from German composer and producer Nils Frahm, and the soul-infused electronic sounds of up-and-coming UK singer Kwabs.
Tickets for the opening spectacle are sold as a separate event from the rest of the festival, a must for those who have the scratch.
The appeal of this festival for underground music lovers is not only apparent in the magnificent venue and exquisite lineup, but also in the global support it has garnered. In its third year running there have been over 50 'Dimensions Launch Parties' thrown worldwide.
