Haylie Duff is engaged.
The older sister of A Cinderella Story star Hilary Duff is in a relationship with Matt Rosenberg and has now announced that they are set to tie the knot. She shared the happy news on her blog The Real Girl's Kitchen.
"This week has seriously just become the best week of my life! As if announcing The Real Girl’s Kitchen tv show wasn’t enough, Matt just took me by total surprise and proposed…on April Fool’s Day of all days! The moment was genuine and sweet (like him!) and I couldn’t wait to say yes!" she gushed on the website.
"We are so excited and happy to share our wonderful news with everyone! We both feel so blessed to have the love and support of our family and friends and can’t wait to start this new adventure! (sic)"
The actress-and-singer added two pictures of the loved-up couple, including one where she nuzzles up to Matt as he puts his arm around her.
Hilary, 26, has also expressed her delight at the news.
"So happy to not have to keep this news in!! My beautiful sister @HaylieDuff and her amazing boyfriend @Matt_STS are engaged!!!!" she excitedly tweeted. "Love you guys so much!!!! (sic)"
In January, Hilary announced that her marriage to Mike Comrie had ended. The pair wed in 2010 and have son Luca together, who was born in March 2012. The former couple added that they would remain on good terms in order to co-parent the two-year-old.
