2013 proved to be a big year for the Arctic Monkeys as they enjoyed success through their 5th studio album release AM as well as headlining Glastonbury and picking up a Brit award. This year the indie-rock quartet are returning to play festivals in Scotland, Belgium, Italy, France, Hungary, the Netherlands and Portugal.

After the Arctic Monkeys experimented with their style for the previous two albums AM finally gets the balance right and has lifted the Arctic Monkeys back to the pinnacle of indie rock. The band are renowned for putting on stellar live displays and have been headlining ever since their 2007 appearance at Glastonbury. Fans of the Arctic Monkeys first two albums may be a little disappointed as the band have sidelined many of their classics including ‘A View from the Afternoon’ and the likes of ‘Mardy Bum’ and ‘A Certain Romance’ are rarities at best.

The bands festival stops are a part of their AM tour so expect to hear tunes like ‘Arabella’ and ‘Do I Want to Know’ as well as a few older numbers like ‘Do Me a Favour’, ‘Brianstorm’ & ‘Dancing Shoes’ alongside their original hit ‘I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor’.

Arctic Monkeys summer festivals: Pinkpop (8th June), Rock Werchter (4th July), Volt Festival (6th July), Nimes Festival (8th July), Optimus Alive (10th July), T in the Park (13th July), Castello Scaligero (16th July), Pistoria Blues Festival (17th July) and Les Vieilles Charrues (19th July), Rock En Seine (22nd August), Reading Festival (23rd July), Leeds Festival (24th July) . Arctic Monkeys will be appearing as headliners at all festival dates.
