Manchester’s finest, James, play a very special, intimate show at London’s Electric Ballroom on Wednesday May 28th. It’s the first time in their illustrious 30 year career that they have ever played the venue.

James return June 2nd with ‘La Petite Mort’, their first new full length album in six years and ranks amongst the band’s best. Highlights include the mighty, forthcoming single ‘Moving On’, the 6Music playlisted taster ‘Frozen Britain’ and ‘Curse Curse’. The album is produced by Max Dingel (Killers, Muse, White Lies) and written, as ever, by the band with lyrics by Tim Booth.

Since forming in 1982, James are, without doubt, one of Britain’s most influential bands. Their classic hits include ‘Sit Down’, ‘She’s A Star’, ‘Laid’ and ‘Getting Away With It (All Messed Up)’ amongst their 20 top 40 UK singles. They have released 12 studio albums and have sold over 12 million albums worldwide.
