Taylor Momsen thinks she’s “boring”.
The 20-year-old former Gossip Girl star now fronts rock band The Pretty Reckless.
And although she has handled python snakes in the past, in addition to baring her buttocks on the cover of her new album Going To Hell, Taylor says her antics are for art and nothing more.
"I'm pretty boring" she told UK newspaper The Sun.
"We're all pretty boring unless we're playing and then we're not boring.
"As long as nudity has an artistic purpose and meaning behind it I'm ok with it. It's when it has no reason to be there it's not my favourite."
Taylor modelled for Madonna’s Material Girl line shortly after she exited Gossip Girl in 2012, but she is no longer interested in living life as a celebrity.
The multitalented entertainer simply wants to write good songs.
"We just like to play music,” she said of herself and her The Pretty Reckless bandmates, noting they rarely review criticism of their work.
"We don't read anything about ourselves.
"I don't own a computer. I'm not a big fan of technology."
In addition to being anti-technology, Taylor isn’t too happy about riding on airplanes.
Although she has to fly to perform gigs across the world, she would rather stay grounded.
"I'm not a big fan of flying. I'm not scared of flying but I'm not a fan of it,” she explained.
Taylor and her band The Pretty Reckless released their new album Going To Hell on March 12.
