Lil Wayne would live his life 'a billion times' over.
The 31-year-old rapper began emceeing with Cash Money records at the age of nine, and he has since carved out an illustrious career in entertainment.
And should he have the opportunity to do it all over again, he'd jump on that chance in a heartbeat.
"If I had to go back and do it a billion times, I hope I come back as this same n***a and do it again,' Wayne said to interviewer Elliott Wilson during the latest instalment of his CRWN series.
Wayne recently announced he'll retire as a solo artist after releasing his forthcoming eleventh studio album Tha Carter V.
And upon reflection of all he has achieved since hopping in the rap game as a child, the star hopes he has joined the ranks of hip hop legends like The Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur, Jay-Z and Eminem.
"I definitely look at it like that. I don't think that the new artists even putting us in their competition,' Wayne explained.
'When I say 'us' I hope that I fit in that 'us.' I hope I fit in that and if I do, I hope they look at it as I'm trying to get there. Me, I still look at it like I'm trying to get there.
Tha Carter V is slated for release sometime this year.
