Little Mix have set their sights on working with Jason Derülo.

The British four piece have been busy cracking America with shows, TV appearances and topping the US iTunes chart. They can even count Jessica Alba as a fan.

But now they're looking to expand their musical repertoire with two of the hottest stars currently working in music.

“We want to write with more American producers and are hoping to work with Jason Derülo’s people," Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall revealed to British newspaper The Daily Star. “Talk Dirty is our favourite song so more stuff like that. And we would love a Macklemore collaboration too.

“It’s about making more hits really, so we start working on it as soon as we get back from America before our UK tour. It will be a bit of a rush.”

Little Mix have garnered international success after being put together on 2011's X Factor UK.

The band, which consists of Jade, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, are currently riding high in the British charts with their charity single Word Up!, a cover of Cameo's 1980s cult classic.

The band got a helping hand from pop veteran Melanie Chisholm, aka Sporty Spice, who made a guest appearance in the song's video.

“Mel C is lovely. We didn’t even know she was going to be there and it was a total surprise. We was just dancing around in the video and then she came in, did her kick and left.

“I was like: ‘Oh my God, that’s Mel C, pretend to act normal girls.’ She said: ‘Whenever you’re free you need to come to my house for lunch.’

“She brought her daughter so she could get a picture with us because she’s a big fan. I know how she felt. When I was little I was obsessed – I had Spice Girls wallpaper, the dolls, everything...”Jade gushed.
