It is with great delight that today we announce that Metronomy’s fourth studio album entered this week’s UK album charts at number 7 – their highest entry to date and also the third highest entry that week.

Following on from the success of their previous records, Love Letters is Joseph Mount’s masterpiece. Not losing any of the glowing warmth and ear worm melodies that makes Metronomy’s sound so distinct, Love Letters is more developed, further evolved - Joe Mount excels in his lyrics and song writing delivering what sounds like a truly classic record.

Metronomy will be launching a new ‘I’m Aquarius’ smart phone game on Monday 24th March. Set in the vast reaches of space, users will get the chance to seize control of the Metronomy ship and help Joseph Mount navigate through cosmic wilderness. Players will require instincts and fast thinking in order to avoid the increasingly perilous obstacles set in their path. From exploding mines, to darting asteroids, all set to the sound of an exclusive re-work of Metronomy’s single ‘I’m Aquarius’. The game will be available on iOS App Store and Google Play for free.

What’s more, whoever has the highest score by May 5th will win a very special signed test-pressing version of the album.

Lastly, Soulwax have created a very special remix of 'Love Letters', which will be available on 12” on Record Store Day, April 19th 2014. Stream it here:

Metronomy is the sole creation of singer, writer and producer and expert musician Joseph Mount. His band are: Oscar Cash (keys, sax, vox), Anna Prior (drums, vox), Gbenga Adelekan (vox, guitar).
