Ciara has apparently spent $20,000 on a safari-themed nursery.

The singer announced in January that she is expecting her first child with her fiancé, rapper Future.

It appears that their little one will be truly spoilt, as TMZ claims the couple headed to fancy baby store Petit Tresor in Los Angeles to kit out their bundle of joy's first room.

According to the website, the 28-year-old beauty decided on an animal theme and forked out $1,800 on an 8ft. stuffed giraffe alone.

The rest of the $20,000 budget was apparently spent on other large toy animals, lion bookends and artwork.

Ciara clearly thinks money is no object when it comes to her little one, as she was spotted buying yet more goodies for her unborn baby with pal Kim Kardashian last month.

The two stars headed to Bel-Bambini Baby Boutique in West Hollywood, where they were seen browsing and chatting.

It's thought that Ciara and Future's baby is due in around a month.

Although they haven't officially revealed the child's gender, Future accidentally seemed to give the game away during a recent interview by using 'he'.

"The baby is already listening to music now. She sent me a video while I was over here with the headphones on her stomach. She said, 'The baby just listened to Turn On The Lights, the version with me and you!' I said, 'He gott- You gotta play that Anytime for him, the new one you did. Let him hear that. See how he kick,'" he said according to Perez Hilton.
