Robin Thicke's estranged wife is reportedly open to giving their marriage another go.

Last month, Paula Patton announced her relationship with the singer was over. The pair met when they were teenagers and got married in 2005, with Paula, 38, insisting they would remain friends and continue to parent their three-year-old son Julian together.

Robin, 37, has gone all out to win Paula back, making grand announcements of his love for her on stage and sending her flowers. Initially she was thought to be standing firm, but that now doesn't seem to be the case.

According to TMZ, Paula and Robin have been speaking a lot since their split. At first she was clear about wanting a divorce, but of late their discussions have focused on how he can win her back.

The actress is reportedly yet to hire a divorce lawyer and is pleased with how intent Robin has been on remaining in Julian's life.

Their chats have apparently been "smooth and cordial", although Paula has been clear that she was unhappy with Robin discussing their private life on stage.

Shortly after their separation was confirmed, Robin told the crowd at one of his shows that he'd penned his track Lost Without U about his estranged wife.

"For y'all that don't know, me and my wife separated, but I'm trying to get my girl back. She's a good woman," he said.
On Friday Robin performed at Madison Square Garden in New York City and again paid tribute to Paula.

“When there’s someone you love, you gotta fight for them no matter what,” he said. “We gotta learn to forgive each other, learn to love each other... no matter who it is in your family or relationship... 'cause you’re always gonna need your friends and family."

Despite his words he was seen out without his wedding band on over the weekend, marking the first time he's gone without it in public. Paula has not been wearing her ring for some time.
