Chris Brown is supposedly preparing to 'whoop' Justin Bieber in a basketball game.

The Hollywood bad boys have been friends for years, but due to mutual legal trouble they have apparently not been able to hang out for a long time.

And it is claimed Chris wants to reunite with his buddy on the court.

'It's been a minute and they'll hook up. He wants to give him a hug then whoop his little a*s in some basketball,' a source told Hollywood Life.

'Biebs is good people and they will hang soon when scheduling allows.'

Chris just completed 95 days of rehab to treat anger management issues and he was in court on Friday for a progress hearing related to his 2009 Rihanna assault case.

According to TMZ, paperwork obtained from last week's court visit revealed Chris suffers from Bipolar II, a psychiatric disorder.

The treatment facility he stayed at made a point of praising the R&B singer for all the progress he has made while in treatment. The 24-year-old apparently got up at 5am every day and worked hard, taking all his duties seriously.

But Justin's behaviour hasn't been celebrated by many authorities of late.

The Canadian star turned 20 years old on March 1 and according to The Mirror he kept celebrations 'low-key' as to not attract much attention.

Justin is currently facing charges of driving under the influence, driving with an invalid licence and resisting arrest stemming from an incident in Miami, Florida in January.

The singer was also booked for an assault charge in Toronto, following allegations he struck a limousine driver on the back of the head multiple times en route to a nightclub.

Justin may also be charged with vandalism amid accusations he threw eggs at his neighbour's home in Calabasas, California, causing an estimated $20,000 in damage.
