Franz Ferdinand release a new single, Fresh Strawberries, on Monday April 7th 2014.

Taken from their much acclaimed fourth album, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, the single, featuring Roxanne Clifford of Veronica Falls on guest vocals, was produced by Prince House Rabbit.

The single features b-side, Erdbeer Mund, a new German language track, which can be heard below.

The end of last year saw them play shows in Japan and Australia and they return to the U.K. in March before heading to the U.S. and Canada for an extensive tour.

Support on the U.K. tour will be Eagulls, except London where Mazes play on the 14th and The Bohicas on the 15th.

Tickets for the shows are priced at £22.50 (except London where they are £25) and are available top right tickets button.



They also play at the inaugural 6 Music Festival in Manchester on Saturday March 1st at the Victoria Warehouse.
Additionally, they play a special 30-minute semi -acoustic in-store at Sunderland's Pop Recs Ltd record shop on Thursday March 27th. Tickets for the show are priced at £5 (£2.50 for those providing proof of benefit) and are limited to one per person. Pop Recs Ltd is owned by Frankie & the Heartstrings and was opened in 2013.

Franz Ferdinand are still Alex Kapranos, Nick McCarthy, Bob Hardy and Paul Thomson. There's still no one like them.
