The Hop Farm Festival, Kent's much loved music festival is delighted to announce more of its line-up for its return in summer 2014.

Already promising a fantastic weekend of top music from some of the best-loved artists and bands, The Hop Farm Festival is pleased to announce that Maxïmo Park, the Mercury nominated British alternative Rock superstars will headline the 2nd stage of This July's event. Ever present on the music scene since 2001, the band have proved with every album that they are a constant force, playing to fans in every territory from Ibiza to LA and being one of the first big acts to play in China.

Joining the band are Bellowhead, the 11 piece folk group who celebrate 10 years in the industry in 2014 and still have the title of biggest selling independently released folk artists in the UK. Eliza Doolittle the platinum selling singer-songwriter is set to appear alongside Marc Almond the iconic powerhouse of Soft Cell who has just released a new concept album with John Harle about the blood stained recesses of historic dark London.

Also confirmed to appear are hot property and last week's winners of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Award Full English, the super group whose members include Seth Lakeman, Martin Simpson and Fay Hield. Chaz n Dave whose career has spanned 40 years, often referred to as national treasures, will bring their unique style of 'Rockney' to the festival stage this summer.

Scouting For Girls, the British multi-million selling indie band whose awards have included 3 Brit's, an MTV Europe Award and an Ivor Novello will join us too at The Hop Farm during their summer festival dates. We are also delighted to welcome Slow Club the English folk-rock duo who immense touring history has seen these multi instrumentalists supporting the likes of Florence and The Machine, Mumford and Sons and KT Tunstall. We also welcome Family Rain, the English blues rock band have just released their debut album to critical acclaim and are already fast becoming one of the success stories of the new year. Also joining them will be The Beat the 80's Ska band who became one of the most popular bands of their era especially on US radio playing alongside The Clash, The Police, The Pretenders and of course The Specials. Midlake the American folk band from Denton Texas add to the line-up who are set to showcase their new studio album Antiphon when they drop in to play at our garden stage this summer.

Festival- goers are set to be thrilled by the spectacular return of the event in July and Hop Farm Music Festival will not disappoint, already announcing Brian Wilson, James Blunt, Caro Emerald, Squeeze, Paul Carrack and The Feeling for its Saturday stellar line-up of world-class music with events for all the family, set in glorious grounds under an hour from London.

The all-new festival is the brainchild of a new promoter, production and marketing team, with the all-new festival offering a weekend to rival other UK festival experiences.

With fans disappointed by the demise of last year's event, The Hop Farm in Kent is working with Neil Butkeraitis - a respected promoter from UK Events and his team to bring you an event of outstanding quality, coupled with world-class bands, artists and themed arenas. This highly anticipated headliner announcement, will surely banish the winter blues and get us all excited about the prospect of a summer of world-class music experiences.

The 'All New Hop Farm Festival 2014', is a 3 day event taking place on 4th, 5th and 6th of July 2014, offering fans the chance to experience some of the best live music in the beautiful surrounding of the Kent countryside. 2014's brand new team will not only bring you great artists, but will provide exceptional food and hospitality making it unique on the festival circuit.

With a greater emphasis on providing ticket holders with a fuller festival feeling, the brand new Hop Farm Festival 2014 have invested over £500,000 in the festival sites infrastructure, providing fans with far more than just their basic entry. This year's event will add a touch of glamour, underlining the importance of looking after every fan, as soon as they arrive on the newly invigorated site.
