Ariana Grande is supposedly preparing to sue Perez Hilton.
Earlier this week the 35-year-old gossip columnist posted several tweets accusing Ariana, 20, of abusing drugs.
“@ArianaGrande Are you okay? I heard someone saw you doing cocaine at a party! Stay away from drugs Ariana!!!” he boldly wrote on Monday to his over six million followers.
And Gossip Cop reports the messages, which have since been deleted, were not well received by Ariana. Apparently the star isn’t allowing her name to be sullied, as she has allegedly “hired litigators to sue him for slander”.
According to sources Perez’s claims against her are “all lies” and “not true” at all. It is assumed they were generated because the tabloid journalist has a “vendetta” against Ariana.
“[He] approached her and got rejected,” an insider revealed, noting Perez interpreted this denial as a “personal” rejection.
Perez wrote a detailed statement on the situation, which he posted on his Instagram account attached to a picture of Ariana.
And according to him he and his son Mario are constantly harassed by her fans.
“I know most @ArianaGrande fans are 12 years old - at least they almost all act like it - but ENOUGH is enough!” Perez declared.
“Even 12 year olds KNOW better than to wish death on a baby and say the disgusting things that 99% of her fans have been spamming my Instagram with.
“And, at this point, her silence on this matter is shameful.
“I had always supported and liked Ariana. Until now! Over her! And over her fans!”
On Thursday, Ariana appeared to address the Perez conflict on her Twitter account.
“arianators, I know u don't like when ppl say bad things about me but please don't wish negativity upon any1. don't give up ur light, I ?? u. (sic),” she wrote.
