Simon Cowell could become a father on Valentine's Day.
The music mogul is expecting a child with his partner Lauren Silverman.
Rumours are circulating on Twitter that the socialite is in labour and Simon is now rushing to fly to the US to be with her.
"I was told excl Simon Cowell might become a Valentine's Day dad after rushing to NY to be by Lauren's side.
Breaking now @TheSunNewspaper (sic)," Lia Nicholls, editor of British newspaper The Sun's Bizarre section, wrote to her almost 2,500 followers.
Simon has been spending time in the UK to attend auditions for the upcoming series of Britain's Got Talent.
It's believed the 54-year-old had a private jet on standby just in case Lauren should go into labour.
The baby boy wasn't thought to be due until the end of the month, meaning he would be two weeks early should he arrive today.
Lauren divorced her husband Andrew Silverman after her affair with Simon was made public last year.
The star is known for being close to his "harem" of exes, but sources say he felt ready to commit to Lauren and their baby.
He's prepared to get hands-on as a dad, but admits it won't come naturally.
"I'm not brilliant with babies," Simon told Parade magazine. "I never know what to do. But [once he's older] I think I'll be a good dad in terms of advice. And then I'll get to do all the things I want to do, like go to Disneyland or Universal Studios, teach him how to drive - I love all that."
