Kylie Minogue won’t search for love via dating apps on Valentine’s Day.
Although the 45-year-old pop star is currently single, she isn’t interested in finding romance on digital platforms.
When asked by UK newspaper The Mirror whether she utilises popular dating app Tinder, Kylie’s response was direct.
“Er, Tinder?! Why would I be on Tinder?” she pondered.
“No, no I’m not and have never even tried it. It’s not really ‘me’.”
Kylie reveals she will be spending February 14 without a romantic interest by her side this year.
Although she doesn’t have a scintillating date planned, the songstress appreciates the fact she’ll be spending time with loving friends.
“No, I don’t have a date, I’ll be working, with people I love,” she said, noting she is open to being pleasantly surprised.
“But you know, what’s really exciting is when you don’t know what’s going to happen.”
The singer split from Spanish model Andrés Velencoso in October 2013 after five years together.
And according to previous reports, Kylie confessed on Australian radio she still thinks about him.
"It was an amicable separation, I still love Andrés, he's the nicest guy, he's the coolest guy," she said, adding that Andres was even partly responsible for her tackling a role on reality TV.
"He was one of the people saying you have to do The Voice. I feel like he's with me a little bit.”
