Demi Lovato can’t wait to meet her “Lovatics” on tour.

The 21-year-old pop star will give her first show for her Neon Lights Tour at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Sunday night.

Taking to Twitter at the weekend the star gushed about her fans: “In less than 24 hours this place will be full of Lovatics!!!! VANCOUVER ARE YOU READY?!?!?! #NEONLIGHTSTOUR.”

Demi also shared a photo of the stage and the stadium as crews wrapped up the final details.

“I've never been more excited for a tour in my life... It feels like Christmas morning!!!!!” the star wrote over the weekend.

Demi recently revealed she's been working with longtime friend Nick Jonas to put the shows together.

Nick, who split from the Jonas Brothers in October, told Rolling Stone magazine last week he took the job just a few months ago and has been working tirelessly to craft the show Demi imagined.

"I'm overseeing video content, wardrobe, lighting and staging. And then I'm extending into the musical side of things, which includes creating the arrangements for the songs. I'm building what Demi wanted, which is a show without stops and starts,” he revealed.

Demi later admitted Nick was the natural choice for the role. The pair, both 21, have been close friends since she performed as the opening act for the Jonas Brothers on their Burnin’ Up Tour in 2008, and she’s impressed by his creativity.

"Phil [Demi's manager] and I were going through ideas for the tour and I always want his [Nick's] opinion on stuff cause he knows exactly what he's talking about," Demi told MTV News.

"And he had visions for this tour and he threw out some ideas and they were really good and we just thought 'Why don't you just do the whole tour, please?' so it's turned out amazing and like 90 per cent is his work."

The Neon Lights Tour is scheduled to travel across North and South America before ending in Monterrey, Mexico on May 17.
