Perrie Edwards believes she and Zayn Malik are mature enough to wed.
Perrie, 20, and fiancé Zayn, 21, got together in 2011 and they became engaged last year.
According to the Little Mix star, she and Zayn are more than ready to take the next step in their relationship.
“We’re young, but I think when you know, you know,” Perrie told Access Hollywood.
“We’ve been together for a while now, so it is nice.”
The singer met One Direction star Zayn on the UK version of The X Factor. Perrie says she is blown away by the love and well-wishes from the public regarding their upcoming nuptials.
“The fans have been amazing, they are so supportive of us,” she said.
Zayn has insisted being engaged hasn’t made him complacent about the relationship. The heartthrob makes a point of taking care of his looks so Perrie will always find him attractive.
"I do try to impress her still, I do try to do a bit of exercise," he told E! News. "I don't want to completely let myself go."
Zayn is also thrilled with the love he’s getting from the fans, but admits it took him by surprise. The musician says the attention was a lot to get used to.
“It's just something that took a bit of time for me to get my head around, which obviously is normal for anybody, I guess,” he added.
