Following a triumphant 2013 that saw the likes of Joey Bada$$, Palma Violets and Enter Shikari pass through London’s most legendary venue, Converse Gigs @ 100 Club is back with its first show of 2014.
Devonté Hynes has produced a lot of music over the last 10 years, hopping from project to project and tweaking his sound.
Previously a member of the genre defying Test Icicles, Devonté went on to release two albums under the alias Lightspeed Champion before embarking on his current project Blood Orange, under which sophomore album ‘Cupid Deluxe’ was released in November 2013 to widespread critical acclaim.
Through these releases as Blood Orange, as well as recent production work with artists such as Solange Knowles and Sky Ferreira amongst others, Devonté has now firmly established himself as one of music’s most innovative and exciting current artists.
Blood Orange returns to his hometown to play this special event at The 100 Club on Thursday 20th February.
