Ariana Grande was reportedly blinking back tears on the Grammy Awards red carpet.

The 20-year-old star arrived to the A-list affair wearing a stunning Dolce & Gabbana dress.

But according to E! Online, Ariana had a fashion "freak out" moment and was "practically in tears" when a blogger dissed her garb.

"She's still not completely comfortable on carpets and she made the mistake of looking at Twitter," a source revealed to the outlet.

"This blogger attacked her dress but also went after her hair and then more people started piling on. It was just mean. Ariana was like, 'Why am I even here?'"

Apparently Ariana was able to get herself together quickly, as her minders addressed the situation with haste.

And the Right There songstress has reportedly learned a very important lesson from the bullying incident.

"Ariana has learned not to look at Twitter," the insider said. "She's young. She's learning to grow thicker skin."

The Way hitmaker has previously spoken about her emotional nature.

The star revealed in a recent interview she often finds herself crying during heart-wrenching romcoms and family movies.

"I sob," she admitted to UK Star magazine when asked if she cried at films.

"Films like The Notebook and Toy Story 3 leave me an emotional wreck. Jesus! The first ten minutes of Up are like the end of Titanic, times a million!"
