Lady Gaga says even life is an art form.
The pop star logged onto Facebook on Monday to connect with her fans, lovingly dubbed "little monsters".
Alongside a close-up of herself in a short blonde wig and sunglasses, Gaga wrote to her 62 million followers on the website: "Your life is an art form, remember yourself with every stroke."
Within minutes, tens of thousands of people liked the image, reminiscent of the singer's theme from her latest album, ARTPOP.
Despite the November release, Gaga was noticeably absent from the Grammy Awards Sunday night.
The New York Daily News reports the singer's latest offering was snubbed because it hit shelves after the cut-off date for consideration.
Gaga was in Los Angeles the day prior, however.
She performed for music legend Carole King at the MusiCares Gala, singing a version of You've Got a Friend.
Afterwards, the star logged onto Twitter to share her excitement.
"Honoring u @Carole_King was a privilege. You continue to inspire us. Were so lucky to have you in the world, your music will last forever," she wrote.
Other performers at the event included Alicia Keys, who sang Natural Woman, as well as Steven Tyler and LeAnn Rimes, who sang Hi-De-Ho, a track co-written by Carole and Gerry Goffin.
