Justin Bieber is reportedly not taking his arrest “seriously at all”.

The 19-year-old singer was charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest without violence and driving on an expired licence in a Miami court on Thursday.

And even though he is also under investigation for felony vandalism in California, it’s rumoured Justin isn’t concerned about his legal troubles.

“Justin just isn’t taking this seriously at all,” a source told Radar Online.

“He expects his attorneys to get him out of this mess.”

The teenage heartthrob was taken into custody in the wee hours of Thursday morning after he was caught drag racing by police in the south Florida city.

But apparently while he was sitting in jail waiting for his bond hearing, the seriousness of the allegations did not dawn on him.

“He appeared to still be under the influence and would start to mumble something under his breath, then start laughing,” a law enforcement insider revealed.

On Thursday afternoon Justin was released from jail after posting a $2,500 bail bond.

Before hopping into his chauffeured car while exiting the detention centre, he waved to screaming fans surrounding the premises.

Justin was taken into custody after police on the scene of his drag racing incident allegedly smelled alcohol on his breath and witnessed his face bear a look of “stupor”.

"[Justin] made statements he had consumed some alcohol, been smoking marijuana and consumed some prescription medication,” officials said at a news conference following the Canadian singer’s arrest.

Police officers in California raided Justin’s home last week with a felony warrant looking for evidence he was involved in a residential egging incident that caused $20,000 worth of damage to his neighbour’s property.

And a resident of Justin’s exclusive Calabasas community shared his glee over news the teenage star is getting into trouble with the law.

“They finally caught HIM!” former NFL player Keyshawn Johnson tweeted.

“Everyone grows up at some point. Hopefully he learns from it.”

Justin has been accused of causing terror in his neighbourhood with his behaviour. His residents have complained he drives recklessly on the streets and throws wild parties.

A spokesperson for the singer has yet to issue an official comment on his arrest.
