David and Victoria Beckham could lead separate lives if they buy a home in Miami it has been claimed.

David is reportedly getting "closer and closer" to signing a deal to buy a football club in Miami.

The deal would mean a need to buy a property in the Florida state but Victoria has apparently ruled out another Stateside move.

"There is a lot at stake with this business deal and David isn't taking it lightly," a source told UK magazine Star.
"Initially, he and Victoria talked about the whole family moving back to America but Victoria put her foot down."

The source goes on to claim that the couple were at "loggerheads" over the situation for a couple of months.

But in recent weeks the pair, who have four children; Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 11, Cruz, eight and Harper, two, have "agreed to a compromise".

"It's frustrating that they are going to be separated again as Posh has loved having David around more over the past year," the source explained to the publication.

"But at the same time, she knows that getting a home in Miami where she can take the family during the school holidays is really the best idea all round.

"David has always supported her ambitions and now she wants to do the same for him," the source added.
