After selling out her March London show, BANKS today adds a second date at London’s KOKO to her debut UK headline tour on Tuesday 1st April.

The last few weeks have seen the Los Angeles singer-songwriter and self-taught pianist tipped by everyone from the BBC Sound of 2014, MTV, Spotify and all the way to Shazam and UK Blog Sound of 2014, further testament that the excitement with BANKS as one of the year’s most promising new artists is truly across the board.

BANKS plays the following UK live dates:

20.03 – Bristol Trinity, Centre
21.03 - Birmingham, Library
23.03 - Glasgow, O2 ABC2
24.03 - Sheffield, Leadmill
26.03 - Manchester, RNCM
28.03 - Oxford, O2 Academy 2
29.03 - Brighton, Concorde
31.03 – London, KOKO ***SOLD OUT***
01.04 – London, KOKO ***New show***

Tickets for the second London show go on sale at 9am on Friday 17th January priced £14, while tickets for all other shows priced £11 regionally (subject to per-ticket charge plus order processing fee) are on sale now and are available from www.livenation.co.uk or www.ticketmaster.co.uk

BANKS critically lauded London EP (the title owing to the city it was written and recorded in) released in September has won her an ever-growing legion of supporters and fans as it further established her distinct sound – a place where sparse clicky beats, wiry basslines, mercurial synths, confessional lyrics, and seductive melodies coalesce. Supporting the Weeknd on tour in the US and UK, the end of the year has seen her grace stages as sizeable as Radio City Music Hall in New York to the O2 Arena in London. A one off headline London show at Shoreditch Town Hall sold out in a head spinning two hours.
