Jared Leto’s relationship with Taylor Swift is “far from romantic”.
The 30 Seconds to Mars frontman sparked speculation he and Taylor may be dating after he posted a picture of them together on his Instagram account at the InStyle Golden Globes after-party.
Although he captioned the image with, “Me. Taylor Swift. Golden Globes. xo (sic)”, it has been claimed that the pair are not romantically involved.
“They were friendly talking to each other about music and Jared’s Globe win but between them it is as far from romantic as humanly possible,” a source told Hollywood Life.
Taylor is notorious for her series of failed high-profile love affairs with stars like One Direction’s Harry Styles, John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal.
And although it is believed she finds Jared attractive, she apparently has no interest in pursuing him.
“She thinks he is hot but they aren’t going to start anything. It was strictly platonic,” the insider added.
Jared, 42, was the toast of Hollywood on Sunday evening after he received the best supporting actor Golden Globe Award for his portrayal of transgender AIDS victim Rayon in Dallas Buyers Club.
Another guest posted an image of the pair on Twitter, with Jared seen leaning in to Taylor's ear. The 24-year-old blonde singer looked thrilled with the attention and was twiddling her fingers as she spoke to the hunky rock star.
