Paris Hilton has signed a DJ deal worth a reported $400k.

The hotel heiress has inked an agreement for a short residency at The Pool at Harrah's Casino in Atlantic City, according to Page Six.

It's claimed she is being lined up to spin tunes at the venue on four occasions, meaning she will net a cool $100,000 per appearance.

No further details about the arrangement, such as when she will appear, have been confirmed at the moment.

Paris has previously spoken about her love of DJ-ing.

"I think, with anything I do, people like to think that because I'm from the Hilton family I'm just some kind of party girl," she told British magazine Heat.

"But I shouldn't be judged on my money or my name. If anyone knows anything about music and clubbing, it's me. I've been studying it for years."

The 32-year-old has hosted parties all over the world for years and last summer she completed a residency at the Amnesia nightclub in Ibiza.

She understands that many are dubious about her skills on the decks, but explained late DJ Adam Goldstein - who dated her friend Nicole Richie - actually taught her the basics around a decade ago.

"Club owners always asked me if I knew how to DJ, and I did, but I needed to work at it," she added to Heat.

"I was hosting parties for so many years, then I got offered this big concert in Brazil, where I'd be opening for JLo and I began to take it more seriously."
