Beyoncé will co-host a lavish birthday bash in New Orleans for her mother on Saturday night.

The singer and her DJ sister Solange Knowles are shutting down the southern city’s posh venue Muriel’s Jackson Square to celebrate Tina Knowles’ 60th, reports TMZ.

The website has published a photo of an invitation to the affair, which encourages guests to wear masks and “add to the mystery” of the masquerade-themed festivities.

“Solange Knowles and Beyoncé Carter cordially invite you to share in an enchanted evening in New Orleans. To celebrate the birthday of their mother Tina Knowles. In the tradition of an old New Orleans masquerade party,” the invite reads.

The party, which will kick off at 8 p.m. Saturday, is reportedly costing the ladies a minimum of $100,000 to rent out the venue.

News of the event follows on the heels of an over-the-top birthday celebration Beyoncé and husband Jay Z reportedly threw for their two-year-old daughter, blue.

The couple welcomed Blue Ivy on January 7, 2012 and they apparently wanted to celebrate her second year with a huge party.

TMZ claims the superstars rented out Jungle Island in Miami, Florida on Tuesday and spent the entire afternoon hanging out with orangutans, penguins, kangaroos and other animals at the facility.

Park officials have not commented on the cost of renting the entire park.
