Kanye West apparently doesn’t trust Kim Kardashian’s taste when it comes to interior design.
The couple are currently renovating their dream house, an $11million Los Angeles mansion.
But Kanye is rumoured to have had a change of heart regarding the décor of the new pad, and source say he doesn’t want Kim to have any input.
“After he came back from France, Kanye changed his mind about the house – and Kim’s taste. He wants it black and white and really modern and minimalist, no more of this over-the-top Versailles look they’d agreed on before.
“He made the decision after spending time with fashion leaders in Paris. He realised his taste level wasn’t the same as theirs. And he certainly doesn’t trust Kim’s taste level at this point either,” a friend of the couple told British magazine Heat.
The house has featured in the trailer for the ninth series of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and sees a proud Kim, 33, showing her sisters Kourtney and Khloé around the property.
But since Kanye’s decision to go in a new direction with the decoration, it’s been alleged the interior that was already completed has been ripped out.
The new ideas that 36-year-old Kanye has thought up will also cost the couple a small fortune, in addition to the money that has already been spent on the Bel Air property.
“His friends are making fun of the original plans for the interior design so he’s decided to rip out all the changes they’ve already made and start again. It’s looking like it’ll cost them $30million now, but what Kanye wants, Kanye gets,” the insider continued.
