Nicole Scherzinger is reportedly “conflicted” about career pursuits.

The 35-year-old X Factor UK judge has a new record coming out next year and a number of lucrative endorsement deals.

And according to British newspaper The Sun, Nicole doesn’t know whether she should return to the TV talent competition next season.

“She’s torn between the two — she loves the show and loves working on it but is conflicted,” the source revealed, noting she is thinking about it over the holidays.

“She is taking time out at home with her family to decide what move is best to make.”

Nicole’s forthcoming album is supposedly due for release in the summer of 2014.

She is thought to be extremely excited about working on new songs and it is claimed she is close to signing a $4.5 million contract with Sony.

“Nicole was the most popular member of the X Factor panel this year and is the real winner in terms of bankability,” the insider detailed.

“She is set to sign with Sony and can’t wait to get back to her music, which took a back seat during X Factor.”

The publication reports Nicole has also signed multimillion dollar advertising deals for fashion company Missguided and beauty product provider Herbal Essences.

Nicole recently revealed she has no particular wishes for the New Year.

Instead the gracious star is thinking about those affected by the November 2013 Typhoon Haiyan natural disaster in the Philippines.

"Honestly, the only thing I want is to make sure people give back to the Philippines right now. I'm so spoiled, especially being on the show, I have no wants. I'm overly blessed," she told the UK edition of OK! magazine.
