Lena Dunham doesn’t think Beyoncé Knowles should be allowed to nap.

The Girls actress is known to be a huge fan of the singer and often expresses her love for the 32-year-old on Twitter.

In a recent set of messages Lena revealed why she thinks so highly of Beyoncé, explaining she doesn’t try to fool fans into thinking looking as great as her is easy.

“Thing 5,752 to love about Beyonce: she doesn't make it look easy. She makes it look like hard, beautifully hard, work,” Lena, 27, wrote.

“Watching Beyonce perform you don't labor under any illusions that you, too, could do it if you just had the time/body/instructor.

“Songs like Flawless represents the full range of pressures she's under. You think someone let this woman nap. But also don't cuz we need her (sic).”

Beyoncé has been working especially hard recently, releasing a surprise album to her fans earlier this month.

Unlike most popstars the singer didn’t promote the record, but it still went straight to the top of the iTunes chart, even managing to temporarily crash the site.

To accompany the album the star shot a YouTube series, where she revealed just how much hard work has gone into her career.

"My message behind this album was finding the beauty in imperfection. I had this image of a trophy and me accepting these awards, and kinda training myself to be this champion and at the end of the day when you go through all of these things, is it worth it?" she questioned in one of the clips.

"You get this trophy, and you're like, 'I basically starved. I have neglected all of the people I love, I conformed to what everybody else thinks I should be. And I have this trophy. What does that mean?' The trophy represents all of the sacrifices that I made as a kid. All of the time that I lost being on the road and in the studios as a child and I just wanna blow that sh*t up."

In addition to the album, Beyoncé also filmed music videos to accompany new songs and is releasing a perfume.
