Simon Cowell is supposedly “done with LA”.
The 54-year-old music mogul confirmed this week Demi Lovato is leaving her role as judge on X Factor US and he is also currently expecting his first child with girlfriend Lauren Silverman.
It is rumoured Simon has had it with the ups and downs of Hollywood and he has opted to start anew in Miami with Lauren.
“Lauren told Simon she doesn’t really like the idea that his [former fiancee Mezhgan Hussainy] decorated the house in Beverly Hills,” a source told Celebuzz.
“So that sparked the notion of moving. So Miami came up and they’d spend more of their time in there and London.
“And Simon’s done with L.A. He’s sort of miserable there because the ratings for X Factor have been low, so he’ll come back and forth for projects.”
Simon and Lauren are purportedly so over the spotlight they are purposefully trying to locate properties in more isolated areas.
It is said the A-listers simply want to keep things as low-key as possible during this time.
“They were looking at a few houses on Star Island. But Lauren thinks it’s too much of the celebrity cliché,” the insider revealed.
Meanwhile Simon is elated about becoming a father in the New Year.
The entertainment tycoon recently confessed he lost his “buzz” for life until he learned Lauren was pregnant.
“I'm having a baby and I never thought I would. And it totally changed everything,” he previously explained to Weekend magazine.
“It was like coming out of a fog; that’s the only way I can describe it.”
