Ashley Tisdale immediately knew her fiancé was ‘The One’.
The former High School Musical star got engaged to fiancé Christopher French in August after eight months of dating.
And Ashley couldn’t help but gush about her whirlwind romance.
“You know, I didn't [think it'd happen that quickly]," she admitted during radio show On Air With Ryan Seacrest show Monday.
“I think I've obviously been in long relationships in the past, but I think because of knowing what I wanted, I wouldn't have gone into a relationship, if it wasn't what I wanted. And I think from the moment that him and I met, I just knew it.”
Ashley, 28, dated High School Musical dancer Jared Murillo from 2007 to 2009 before romancing director Scott Speer on and off from 2009 to 2012.
But now Ashley believes she has met her perfect match and the feeling is mutual.
"I was like, 'OK, this is the guy.' And he knew the same thing. It was just this feeling that it doesn't get any better. I can't explain it!" she shared.
“It's just natural between us. With other relationships, you're trying too much and trying to make it work and then there's just a moment when you find somebody and you're like, ‘Holy sh*t! This is so natural.'”
Despite a whirlwind engagement, the couple are in no rush to pick a date for the wedding.
When asked about the scale of their future nuptial ceremony, Ashley answered with no hesitation.
“Small,” she said, “And as private as we can get it.”
