Demi Lovato "loves" Selena Gomez.
The 21-year-old pop singer considers the Spring Breakers star one of her best pals.
The pair spent a recent day off out and about and Selena posted a black and white holiday photo on Instagram to share the moment with their fans.
Demi quickly responded, tweeting: "I looooooooooovvvvvveeee you."
The message came shortly after Demi credited her closest friends with saving her life.
A source told E! News Selena was one of the few friends who visited Demi in rehab back in 2010 and the X Factor judge says she'll never forget how her loved ones have supported her.
"I've been through hell and back, but my story isn't over yet," Demi tweeted.
"I can't wait to talk about the people who have never taken ANY credit for being a huge part of saving my life, and why I'm alive today...."
Demi recently opened up about her struggles with addiction.
In an interview with Access Hollywood published this week she said at her lowest point she was smuggling cocaine onto airplanes.
"I couldn't go without 30 minutes to an hour without cocaine and I would bring it on airplanes," she said.
"I would smuggle it basically and just wait until everyone in first class would go to sleep and I would do it right there."
Demi said she even had a sober coach with her 24 hours a day at the time.
She recalled the moment when she realised she needed serious help and never looked back.
".I was like, 'Oh my God. that is alcoholic behaviour. [It's] no longer, I'm young and rebellious and out having fun, it was, wow, I'm one of those people.I gotta get my sh*t together,'" she said.
