Jay McGuiness believes he upholds the "stupid-boyband stereotype".
The singer forms one-fifth of The Wanted alongside Siva Kaneswaran, Max George, Nathan Sykes and Tom Parker.
During a recent concert, Jay was embarrassed to find he couldn't remember the words to his own tracks.
"Such a fun gig! Despite forgetting lyrics to pretty much every song. Doing nothing to break the stupid-boyband stereotype... #Shrug (sic)," he joked on Twitter.
The Wanted's Siva recently announced the exciting news he'd proposed to his long-time girlfriend.
He has been dating Nareesha McCaffrey for six years and has now finally popped the question.
He used a surprise birthday party she planned for him last month as the perfect opportunity to catch her off guard.
"I said to her I wanted a present I would always remember this year by… for you to be my wife," he grinned to HELLO! magazine.
"It was like a military operation to plan the proposal. I couldn’t even tell the other boys in the band in case they blew the surprise.
"I found out Nareesha was planning a surprise party on my birthday with her family so I thought perfect! I’d bought the ring months before I'd been trying to figure out the right time.
"I love her, I love every bit of her."
Although Siva successfully managed to hide his proposal from his bandmates, not everything went to plan.
For Nareesha, it may have been too much of a surprise, as she initially said no to the all-important question.
"I'm still in shock," she laughed.
"I don't like surprises and he really surprised me, but I was so happy. I can't wait to start planning the wedding."
The Wanted are currently promoting their album Word of Mouth, which was released last month
