Justin Bieber's graffiti wall continues to cause controversy, as a hotel is apparently determined to keep it.
Last week the popstar sprayed a hotel wall in Brisbane, Australia, with pictures of monsters. Mayor Tom Tate then issued a video message to Justin ordering him to clean it up.
However, the Australian hotel tagged by the heartthrob appears to be determined to defy the mayor's ultimatum.
'The hotel is going so far as to protect it from being cleaned up,' reports TMZ. 'They're so proud of the Bieb's handiwork... they're covering it with a black tarp so no one can remove it.'
'We're told the cover-up is there to shield the graffiti from rain and sun... but clearly it also sends a message. HANDS OFF BIEBER'S MASTERPIECE,' the website added.
Earlier this week Tate made it clear that he would not stand for Justin's behaviour. Although charges have not been made against the singer, the mayor clearly isn't happy with the graffiti.
"I've got a message for pop princess Justin Beaver," he said in a video message. "We love your music but we hate your graffiti and your vandalism here in our city. Mate, you've got two choices - come back and clean up your mess or come back and sing at the [Mayor's Christmas Carols event] on the 7th of December.'
Justin is believed to have created the mural after returning to his hotel following a show and his actions were caught on camera.
