Kanye West reportedly wants to get married in France’s Palace of Versailles.
The rapper proposed to reality TV star Kim Kardashian on her 33rd birthday and has been busy planning the nuptials ever since. There has been speculation that Kanye wants a grand venue for the lavish nuptials and has his heart set on the opulent European palace.
"Kanye has never been married and wants a big [wedding]," a source told Us Weekly.
Kim has previously hinted the pair could exchange vows in France.
The pair, who welcomed daughter North into the world in June, are planning to tie the knot next summer.
While Kim is seemingly keen for the wedding to be low-key following two failed marriages, Kanye is determined to make it a day to remember.
"They are not working with a budget,” added another insider.
It was recently reported that the Yeezus star is considering celebrating the marriage in Los Angeles, New York City and Paris. He is even believed to have hired a team of assistants to help him organise it.
“Kanye wants it to be the greatest show on earth. He wants fire-eaters, acrobats and special performances from his musical friends, including Jay Z,” a source recently told British magazine Grazia. “He’s even suggested hiring elephants for him and Kim to ride on and hand-crafted jewelled Maison Martin Margiela masks for them to wear at the altar.”
Kanye is no stranger to staging elaborate declarations of his love for Kim.
When he proposed in October, the music star rented out San Francisco's AT&T Park, hired a 50-piece orchestra and wrote the words ‘PLEEEASE MARRY MEEEE!!!’ on a giant screen.
