Lady Gaga is “so excited” to announce a string of concert dates for North America.
Called The ARTPOP Ball, the tour dates kick off in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on May 4th and tickets will be available from Dec 9 on.
The singer was forced to cancel her Born This Way Ball tour earlier this year after undergoing hip surgery, but it appears she now is healthy enough to perform again.
“I am so excited to announce that after abruptly ending my tour for surgury earlier this year, I am back and starting my tour in...USA! :) (sic),” Gaga tweeted.
“The ARTPOP Ball will be a full on party combining music, fashion, & technology in one explosive performance! And the best part is, tickets will be available for as low as $35, and $85 for general admission seating which puts you INSIDE THE STAGE!”
According to the pop star, the new dates will feature a mix of old and new hits.
Gaga promises to have plenty of new tricks up her sleeve with both music and design, and tells fans to be prepared for anything.
“ARTPOP, my past hits, and some surprises!” she added. “update: I am in the process of building and locating the greatest stuffed animal/ foam glowstick cannon known to mankind. these are seats not standing room and prime location for viewing stage (sic).”
