Neil Finn has announced a European tour to take place in April and May 2014, in support of his first solo album since 2001.
‘Dizzy Heights’ is due for release on February 10th through Lester Records via Kobalt Label Services (KLS). A single ‘Flying In The Face Of Love’ will be released on the same day. Neil Finn tickets go on-sale 9am on Friday 29th November and are available from www.livenation.co.uk or www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
Featuring Neil Finn with a full band, the tour will open at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow on April 24th, the tour will stop in Bristol, Birmingham, Cambridge and Nottingham, and feature dates at the Sage Gateshead, the Lowry in Manchester and Royal Festival Hall in London before heading over to Holland, Belgium and Germany.
Ahead of the tour, Finn is due to play a sold-out intimate performance at St. James’s Church in London’s Piccadilly on Wednesday featuring string arrangements by Victoria Kelly.
Co-produced by Dave Fridmann (Mercury Rev, The Flaming Lips, Tame Impala), ‘Dizzy Heights’ was recorded between Finn’s Roundhead studio in Auckland and Fridmann’s Tarbox studio in upstate New York. The record is Neil Finn’s third solo outing following, Try Whistling This and One Nil (or One All).
