Cher says Katy Perry is “adorable” and “fun.”
The legendary singer tweeted about Katy after watching one of her music videos, and was clearly impressed by what she saw. Cher tweeted her approval for the pop star and didn’t hold back with her praise.
“Saw Katy Perry's Video yesterday ! I Don't know what I was expecting,but How Cute ! It was fun & She was Adorable In it ! (sic)” said Cher.
Katy is currently promoting new album Prism, which details the period following her marriage break up from Russell Brand.
67-year-old Cher is known for speaking her mind and having very strong opinions on a number of topics. She recently expressed her dislike for modern-day musicians being compared to more established artists.
"You can't be the young anybody else. That's why Gaga is Gaga and Madonna is Madonna," Cher told Attitude magazine. "All these people are themselves. You can't be the young anybody."
Cher went on to insist the rule applied to herself too, and said there no one was like her of any age. And she believes there won’t be until she passes away.
"There is no young me,” Cher said. “If you get to be that, if you get to a certain level, you have to be the young you ... Until I'm dead. Maybe when I'm dead, someone will go, 'Oh that's the young Cher.'"
