After selling 10,000 copies of their amazing Racey Roller 2010 debut album, originally out on US label Dead Beat records and later repressed by Damaged Goods in the UK and TKO in California, GIUDA are now back with their much anticipated second LP: Let's do it Again is scheduled for release on November 16, once again on Damaged Goods.
After eighteen months of non-stop touring throughout Europe and the United States, with rave reviews in some of the most influential international magazines, like MOJO and RollingStone, and with a huge following of enthusiasts screaming 'I'm A Giuda Fan' (the slogan printed on their patches and t-shirts), including a slew of musicians like Phil King (The Jesus and Mary Chain/Lush), Robin Wills (Barracudas), Kim Fowley, Tony Barber (Buzzcocks), Tesco Vee (Meatmen) and Tony Sylvester (Turbonegro), the five members of Giuda locked themselves in the studio to create the follow-up to their acclaimed debut.
Recorded with analog equipment and strictly-70's instruments by Danilo Silvestri, the record's producer along with guitarist Lorenzo Moretti, Let's do it again continues on the musical path outlined by Racey Roller while improving the song-writing process with more complex structures and catchier melodies, yet without losing an ounce of spontaneity and energy.
10 songs, 10 glam-pop-rock'n'roll anthems that will get listeners hooked from the very first spin, with aggressive guitars blending perfectly with powerful and infectious vocals, over bouncy and pounding beats.
Giuda's vision is made up of (tall, very tall) platform boots, football (AS Roma, to be precise), roller skates and a healthy dose of the Bay City Rollers. Nothing is left to chance in the GIUDA world, including Tony CrazeeKid's graphics, illustrating his visceral passion for certain specific 70's atmospheres.
The five-piece, Lorenzo Moretti (guitar/vocals), Ntendarere Damas (lead vocals), Michele Malagnini (guitar), Danilo Valerii (bass) and Daniele Tarea (drums), fully embody the original rock'n'roll principle: that of having fun!
