Jane Lynch''s estranged wife is reportedly seeking nearly $100,000 a month in spousal support.
The Glee actress and clinical psychologist Dr. Lara Embry announced their split in July after three years of marriage.
According to TMZ, Lara is seeking $93,809 a month in spousal support after apparently growing accustomed to a lavish lifestyle supported by Jane.
In legal documents obtained by the website, Jane''s ex claims the actress'' average monthly income amounts to $234,688, marking a substantial increase during their time together.
"Embry also says when she married Lynch, Jane told her she had $400,000 in her savings and 401K combined, and owned her home," the website reports.
"Her income, investments and assets increased dramatically with her newfound acting success," the documents allege.
TMZ claims Jane is already providing her ex with support, although the exact figure remains unclear.
Lara is believed to be staying with her young daughter at a home purchased by Jane and is said to either want the house or a 50 per cent cut from its potential sale.
The former couple are not believed to have signed a prenuptial agreement, potentially allowing for assets acquired during their marriage to be split 50/50.
Jane and Lara tied the knot on Memorial Day in 2010 in the state of Massachusetts, where same sex marriage is recognised.
Jane cited "irreconcilable differences" in her divorce filings and later admitted she was optimistic about the split.
"It''s not dramatic. It''s not a horrible thing. It''s something that we''re dealing with," Jane explained on the web show Larry King Now this summer.
"It''s two people who just decide it''s better to go apart than stay together."
