Ash returned to the Corner Hotel, Melbourne, to play their breakthrough f1977Πalbum in its entirety.
The venue was now full of 30 something punters waiting to relive their musical youth with Ash performing f1977Œ, their once high rotation memory, live on the stage.
They were not disappointed. From the moment Ash stepped out on stage the audience where transformed back to 1996.
Ash performed the entire f1977Πalbum from start to finish with songs like eKung Fuf, eGirl For Marsf and eGoldfingerf recalling that unique, raw time in music when it was all about guitar, bass and drums.
Tim Wheeler, now 36, is now quite the showman and as the bandfs ringmaster kept the entire crowd mesmerised and singing along to every word and listening to every note.
