September 2013 will see a fantastic celebration of Amy Winehouse on what would have been her 30th birthday.

The celebrated singer and songwriter will be honoured by her home of Camden Town and beyond in true Camden style – with great music, dancing, good times and... a mass parachute jump, all under the banner of #Amys30.

There will be an #Amys30 Pop Up shop on Camden High Street, selling, limited edition merchandise including an exclusive Henry Hate range. Take an Amy Walking Tour of Camden and join iconic Camden venues from Dublin Castle to Proud Camden all pulling together to raise money for the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Norman Jay MBE is the first announcement for the launch night party of ‘Amy Winehouse: For You I Was A Flame’ exhibition at Proud Galleries, including artwork by Gerald Laing, Horace Panter, Bambi and Mr Brainwash and photography by Jake Chessum, Dean Chalkey and Oscar Lasa.

Joining in the birthday party singalong of Amy songs for Friday I’m In Love is Channel 4 News presenter Jon Snow and legendary singer David McAlmont with more to follow.

Amy’s mother Janis, who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis, will even take part in her first parachute jump for the occasion on September 29th alongside Mayor Of Camden Jonathan Simpson and 30 others.

“When I was asked about taking part in the parachute jump I just said 'why not'? – that’s my general outlook on life,” says Janis, “Life is short, live it! This is important to me as it will not only raise funds and awareness for the Foundation, but also will let people know that having MS doesn’t need to stop you doing anything you want.”
