The unexpected release of Eminem's latest single 'Survival' has sparked a 188 per cent surge in ticket searches for the Reading and Leeds Festival, due to take place this August Bank Holiday Weekend.
The search data released by viagogo, the world's largest ticket marketplace, shows fans are rushing to get hold of tickets to see the 'Real Slim Shady' headline the festival. Leeds is currently leading the way in the demand stakes with searches for the rapper's performance at Leeds on Sunday 25th August 31 per cent higher than for Reading on the Saturday.
The event is now the most searched for Bank Holiday gig on the site, beating the likes of Creamfields and SW4 by 2:1 and 4:1 respectively.
