Blake Shelton put rumours to bed that his marriage to Miranda Lambert is on the rocks.
The 36-year-old The Voice mentor proposed to 29-year-old Miranda on May 9, 2010 after four years of dating.
The couple married the following year but in recent months their relationship has been subject to rampant cheating rumours. Blake was married to high school sweetheart Kaynette Gern when he got together with Miranda.
Blake and Miranda have taken to Twitter with lighthearted messages in recent weeks laughing off reports of a split.
But Thursday night Blake orchestrated a very heartfelt display.
The country crooner stunned the crowd at Miranda’s Bakersfield, California concert with a seemingly impromptu appearance.
Radar Online reports the show was nearing its end when Blake came out on stage yelling, “Surprise!”
Blake sang a rendition of his hit Boys ‘Round Here as Miranda looked on proudly.
Miranda gushed about the moment on Twitter and swooned at the mention of their three-year engagement anniversary.
“And…. 3 years ago today @blakeshelton asked me to marry him. Pretty great moment in my life. I really like him!” she tweeted.
