Richie Sambora's exit continues for European and South African dates

The mystery surrounding Richie Sambora's status with Bon Jovi continues.

Sambora dropped out of the band's North American tour due to "personal reasons" and, although speculation is high that fighting between Richie and Jon Bon Jovi led to the split, Jon insists that Sambora is "absolutely still part of the band."

On Tuesday, the band announced on its webpage that Sambora is now out of their upcoming European and South African shows.

All Shows Will Go On As Scheduled

Due to a personal matter, Richie Sambora will not be performing on the European and South African leg of the tour. All shows will go on as scheduled.
Unknown is whether he will rejoin the band for their just announced Australian leg of the Because We Can tour.
