Paul McCartney is reported to have recorded a second song with Nirvana members Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear for his upcoming album.

McCartney fan site The Macca Report suggests the song ‘Down The Road’ with the Nirvana members will be included on McCartney’s next album due later this year.

Dave Grohl recently recruited Paul McCartney for the song ‘Cut Me Some Slack’ for the Sound City documentary.

The Macca Report also says that Bruce Springsteen will be heard on guitar and backing vocals on the track ‘Eye Of The Storm’ and that Eric Clapton features on slide guitar on ‘All Of My Life’. McCartney also features with Clapton on Eric’s new album ‘Old Sock’.

Proposed songs for the yet-to-be titled McCartney album, according to The Macca Report, are:

Loving You
Hosanna
Eye of the Storm
Down The Road
Come With Me
Life Of A Party Girl
A Sparrow’s Song
Sting Of My Tears

Prior to the release of the new album Paul McCartney will re-issue his classic live album ‘Wings Over America’ in May and the movie ‘Rockshow’ on DVD in June.
