What would you do for love? Today Senses Fail debuts a brand new video for 'Mi Amor' that explores the question of a just how far someone will go for love.
Produced by Robby Starbuck and Stefan Anderson for RSM and directed by Behn Fannin, the video for 'Mi Amor' is up now on the band’s YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/sensesfailofficial.
“We wanted to create something that would spur people to watch the video more than once,” said singer Buddy Nielsen. “There are two ways to do that - be shocking or be funny, we choose the latter. The theme of this song (and the record) is that love can change all, whether it is human love or panda love. I think it’s a funny, cute way to show a visual representation of 'Mi Amor' and what it might mean to others.”
'Mi Amor' is taken from Senses Fail’s latest full-length, Renacer (25/3/13, Staple Records), which has been unanimously praised by critics including Kerrang! who said, “This is how you do post-hardcore in 2013,” and Outburn Magazine who said, “Renacer is about as perfect as the come.” Rock Sound says Senses Fail “return(s) with one of the more dramatic and genuine rebirths you’re likely to encounter for some time. Renacer will put your jaw on the ground within seconds of pressing play.”
Senses Fail will make their return to UK shores in May/June with a headline run as well as performances at Slam Dunk festivals.
Senses Fail formed in Ridgewood, New Jersey over 10 years ago and has sold over 1.2 million records worldwide. The band’s most recent studio album, The Fire, was released in 2010. A greatest hits album, Follow Your Bliss: The Best of Senses Fail, was released last year.
